Dental

Washington Delta Dental plans are the PPO Basic Plan and the PPO Buy-Up plan. There will be no increase in the employee only rate and slight increases for family rates for the Basic Plan. There will be slight increases to the PPO Buy-Up Plan rates that includes orthodontia coverage and a higher annual maximum. There are no changes to the plan deductible of $50 for an individual/$150 for a family for both plans.

The annual plan benefit maximum for the PPO Basic plan is $1,750 per person and the PPO Buy-Up Plan is $2,500 per person with an orthodontia coverage of 50 percent up to a lifetime maximum of $2,500 per person for adults and children.

Medical/Prescription/Vision

Whitworth University offers two plans through Aetna. Both plans are in network with Providence, MultiCare and all area hospitals as well as care across the nation at CVS Urgent Cares and other facilities. No referrals needed for appointments.

The concierge line (833.763.0635) is open for help with questions including provider help and pharmacy prescription information.

There is a PPO Aetna Choice POS II with HRA. Copays for prescriptions and doctor visits and one vision check-up appointment covered each plan year. Once deductible is met, office visits are at the 80/20 percent limits up to maximum. Virtual care visits included at no cost.

Or there is a High Deductible Aetna Choice POS II with HSA. All prescriptions and visits go toward the deductible until met. Then a copay for prescriptions begins, and office visits are at the 80/20 percent limits up to maximum. One vision check-up appointment per plan year. Virtual care visits go toward deductible.
