Academic Chemical & Biological Safety
As part of Whitworth University's commitment to a safe working environment, the College of Arts and Sciences maintains chemical management and biosafety programs. These programs, including the associated standard operating procedures and reference documents, outline the requirements that must be followed when working with chemical or biological hazards in an academic or lab setting. These programs comply with all applicable Washington Administrative Codes and contains the university’s Chemical Hygiene Plan.
