Please note that all Kaiser Permanente medical plans end on May 31.

Employee Assistance Program

The EAP is moving from Magellan to Aetna for more integrated care beginning June 1, 2024. You and your household members are eligible for up to eight short-term counseling sessions per issue, per benefit plan year. Information about the EAP offerings can be found below.

Flexible Spending Account

FSA (Section 125) limits are set by the IRS each year. HealthEquity administers the FSA for the university.

To participate in the FSA, you must enroll each benefit plan year. Re-enrollment is not automatic.

  • Healthcare FSA: Up to $3,200 annually
  • Dependent Care FSA: Up to $5,000 per household if filing jointly or $2,500 if filing single
  • Login: https://participant.wageworks.com

Note: This is an optional benefit. If you want to enroll in the FSA, you must elect this benefit each year. It does not automatically renew. High-deductible health plan (HDHP) participants may only elect a dependent care FSA, not a health FSA.

Dental Insurance

Washington Delta Dental plans are still the PPO Basic Plan or the PPO Buy-Up plan. There will be no increases to the rates for this plan year. There are also no changes to the plan deductible of $50 for an individual/$150 for a family for both plans.

The annual plan benefit maximum for the PPO Basic plan is still $1,750 per person, and the PPO Buy-Up plan is still $2,500 per person with an orthodontia coverage of 50% up to a lifetime maximum of $2,500 per person for adults and children.
