Graduate Studies in Business
Dan C. Sanford Scholarship
To apply for this $2,000 scholarship, the applicant must be admitted to the Whitworth MBA program with at least one semester completed, have a minimum GPA of 3.25, and must demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA form. Scholarship applications will be distributed to eligible students in August.
Graduate Studies in Business Academic Scholarship
Whitworth Graduate Studies in Business (GSB) sponsors scholarships for students who are admitted to the university with a strong undergraduate record. Students entering with a minimum 3.25 undergraduate GPA and a minimum GMAT score of 550 are automatically eligible for up to a 10 percent tuition scholarship. In order to remain eligible for this scholarship, students are expected to maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA during their graduate studies. Academic awards are applied from the semester GMAT scores are submitted onwards. Scores will not be rounded up. To apply for this scholarship, students should submit a request to the assistant director of graduate studies in business.

MBA Alumni Society Scholarship
MBA alumni understand that graduate students work hard to pay for their tuition, most of the time out of pocket without any federal or state assistance. This scholarship is meant to make a large impact on one MBA student. MBA alumni contribute annually to a $5,000 scholarship to be awarded to an MBA student whose desire is to utilize their graduate degree to significantly influence their community and workplace.
- Applicants must be full-time students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. Financial need is not required.

MBA Community Impact & Leadership Scholarship
The MBA program sponsors students who demonstrate promise as community leaders through their established community involvement and impact. All MBA program applicants will be automatically considered for this scholarship at the time of admission, and will be evaluated based on material provided with the standard MBA application (including resume, references and personal essay). This scholarship may be awarded in addition to an academic scholarship up to a maximum scholarship amount of 30 percent of total tuition. No separate application is required.
- Amount: 10 percent or 20 percent discount toward MBA tuition
- Renewal: A 3.0 cumulative graduate GPA is required to maintain this award
Whitworth Military Service Scholarship
In support of our veterans and their families, Whitworth offers a Military Service Scholarship for veterans or spouses of veterans whose tuition is not fully covered by VA benefits in combination with other Whitworth tuition-driven aid. The amount of this scholarship for graduate students is 5 percent of tuition, up to $1,500 per academic year. To qualify, students must submit proof of military service with honorable discharge (preferably Form DD-214) to the financial aid office. Alumni Scholarship
Students admitted to the master in teaching program who also received their undergraduate degree from Whitworth University will automatically qualify for a $1,500 scholarship.
MIT Leadership Scholarship
The MIT leadership scholarship is for teacher candidates to provide support for all individuals in program and promote their potential to make a positive impact in the classroom as a teacher, as a leader among their peers in the program and greater communities in the future.
Whitman College Graduate Scholarship
Students admitted to the master in teaching program who received their undergraduate degree from Whitman College will automatically qualify for a $1,500 scholarship.

Whitworth Military Service Scholarship
In support of our veterans and their families, Whitworth offers a Military Service Scholarship for veterans or spouses of veterans whose tuition is not fully covered by VA benefits in combination with other Whitworth tuition-driven aid. The amount of this scholarship for graduate students is 5 percent of tuition, up to $1,500 per academic year. Master of Science in Athletic Training
Dewaine and Bertha Moore Scholarship
This is a donor-funded scholarship that can be awarded in addition to other sources of financial aid. Students are eligible to apply after completing their first semester in the MSAT program. Applications will be distributed in March/April.
- Eligibility: Must be in good academic standing with the University and MSAT program. Must be enrolled in the MSAT program with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher and have completed 15+ academic credits. Financial need is not a consideration. Student must display enthusiasm, leadership and dedication to the athletic training program. S/he must have a strong commitment to integrating Christian faith and service into the athletic training profession as shown by extracurricular involvement. Applicant must display excellence in clinical application, as determined by the athletic training faculty and staff. Student must be pursuing a well-rounded education, as shown through activities and other academic interests on campus or in the community.

MSAT Academic Scholarship
The MSAT program sponsors academic scholarships for students who are admitted to the university with a strong undergraduate record. Students will be ranked based on their score on the admissions rubric; an undergraduate cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher is required. This award can add onto a clinical leadership scholarship, but not to exceed $2,500 per student.

- Renewal: A 3.0 cumulative graduate GPA is required to maintain this award
MSAT Clinical Leadership Scholarship
The MSAT program sponsors clinical leadership scholarships students who demonstrate promise as future clinical leaders within the MSAT program through their application materials (e.g. interview, resume, message, references). Students will be ranked based on their score on the admissions rubric. This award can add onto an academic scholarship, but not to exceed $2,500 per student.

Russ J. Richardson Scholarship
The Russell J. Richardson Athletic Training Scholarship was established in 2018 by friends and family in honor of Russell Richardson and his leadership of the athletic training program at Whitworth University. Russ served as head athletic trainer and athletic training program director at Whitworth from 1989-2011. During his time at Whitworth, Russ made an impact on many lives, including those of his students, patients and colleagues. He was a leader and humble servant at the university and to the athletic training profession at the state, district and national level. Applications will be distributed in March/April.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be matriculated full-time students who are in good academic standing, with a preference for students admitted and enrolled in the Master's of Science in Athletic Training graduate program. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or above and demonstrate financial need according to the office of financial aid. Recipients of this scholarship should demonstrate a commitment to leadership and service within the athletic training profession. For example, this might be shown through involvement in athletic training professional organization(s) (e.g. leadership positions, club membership, attending conferences, etc.) or volunteerism.

The Mind and Heart Occupational Therapy Scholarship is offered to all occupational therapy doctoral students as recognition of being part of our inaugural cohort.

Transformational Leaders in Occupational Therapy Scholarship
The Transformational Leaders in Occupational Therapy Scholarship will be awarded to students who are recognized for displaying excellent leadership skills and have the potential for becoming transformational leaders who will move the occupational therapy profession forward, by creating a collective vision to inspire others to perform beyond the status quo.
- Application: No additional application is needed; all applicants automatically considered. Limited to no more than ten scholarships per cohort.
- Amount: $1,000 per semester

DPT Heart and Hands Scholarship
The DPT program sponsors a scholarship for students who have demonstrated leadership, service and resilience evidenced through their application, including work and volunteer experience, essays, references and their interview.
