Whitworth University Scholarships
Whitworth Military Service Scholarship
Amount: Varies by academic program
In support of our veterans and their families, Whitworth offers a Military Service Scholarship for veterans and their dependents whose tuition is not fully covered by VA benefits in combination with other Whitworth tuition-driven aid. To qualify, students must submit proof of military service (preferably Form DD-214) to the financial aid office.
Whitworth also offers this scholarship to ROTC cadets, on a semester-by-semester basis.

Scholarships are awarded based on a student's merit and grades. Opportunities include two-, three-, and four-year scholarship options based on the time remaining to complete your degree; full-tuition; the option for room and board in place of tuition; and additional allowances for books and fees.

Army Engineer Memorial Awards

High school seniors whose parent, sponsor or legal guardian is a U.S. Army Engineer (active duty, retired or deceased), National Guard U.S. Army Engineer, Reserve U. S. Army Engineer, or current department of the Army employee of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), as well as a current member of the Army Engineer Spouses Club may apply.

Army Women's Foundation Scholarship

Available to women soldiers, past and present, and their lineal descendants to help them attain their educational goals. The Legacy Scholarship Program offers financial support in four areas: certificate programs, community college coursework, undergraduate degrees and graduate degrees.

CPT James Ahn Special Forces Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a Special Forces Veteran who is working towards the completion of a higher education degree. Applications due June 1, 2021.

KASF Scholarship for Descendants of American Korean War Veterans

Scholarships are available to children who are direct descendants of a Korean War Veteran. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Marine Gunnery Sergeant John David Fry Scholarship

Mary Rowena Cooper Scholarship

This scholarship provides financial assistance to children of veterans who served in Vietnam. This award seeks students pursuing degrees at vocational/technical programs as well as universities and colleges. Award amounts vary based on individual's financial need.

National Auxiliary Scholarship

Candidate must be a child, grandchild or great-grandchild of a member in good standing, deceased or otherwise, of TREA. An essay is required for application.
National Guard Postsecondary Education Grant
Amount: Up to 100 percent tuition
Applicant must be a resident of Washington State and active drilling member in good standing of the Washington National Guard.
National Military Family Association Scholarships

Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society
