Passive Affirmative Voluntary Consent Policy
The Whitworth University Office of Financial Aid has a passive affirmative voluntary consent policy regarding electronic transactions. Unless you contact a member of the staff, the office will assume that you are able and willing to receive your financial transaction information electronically.
Here are your options:
Option 1: Request that paper copies of all electronic transactions be mailed, using the address that Whitworth University has on file for you. This option means that...
- you will create higher costs for Whitworth and its students.
- your correspondence will be less ecologically friendly.
- you acknowledge the fact that correspondence will take longer to reach you.
To select this option, contact the financial aid office or go to WhitNet and check the "Financial Aid Paper Correspondence Option" box to activate it.
Option 2: Receive all of your electronic transaction information electronically through e-mail and WhitNet. No response is required to choose this option. If you wish to receive a particular document or transaction in paper form, please call us or send us an e-mail and we will be glad to send it to you.
Thank you for considering these options carefully.
