Life Groups
Life Groups at Whitworth give students a chance to be in a small group lead by faculty and/or staff to talk about life and Christian faith. Our hope is when you get involved with a group, you’ll find mentorship, community, and growth in your relationship with God as you share life, pray together and engage with Scripture.
Life Groups meet weekly for about an hour for eight weeks. They start up at the beginning of every semester and finish about a month before the semester ends. Students can choose any group that has the time, leader and location that work best for their schedule. Sign up on your own for the chance to meet new people, or sign up with a few of your friends to grow deeper in your faith together.
Here are the Basics:
- Eight-week commitment, starting mid-September for fall semester groups and mid-February for spring semester groups.
- Groups meet weekly for about an hour, led by faculty/staff.
- Students sign up for the time, leader and location that works for them.
- Sign up by yourself to meet new people! Or sign up for the same group with your friends to have a space to connect spiritually together.
