Favorite Quote: “You know, sometimes all you need is twenty seconds of insane courage. Just literally twenty seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.” – Benjamin Mee, We Bought a Zoo
Favorite College Courses: Cities and Urban Life, Civil Rights Movement, Foundations of Christian Leadership and Cross Training with Dance Conditioning
Favorite Spokane Activity: I enjoy nearly every outdoor activity the Spokane area has to offer; paddle boarding and trail running in the summer, hiking the Liberty Lake Loop and biking the Centennial Trail in the fall, snowshoeing and skiing Mt. Spokane and Lookout in the winter, and backpacking neighboring lakes and mountains in the spring.
Favorite Spokane Restaurant: Boiler Room, Clinkerdagger, or Poole’s if watching a sporting event
Favorite Thing About Whitworth: It's got to be the people. I have never been a part of a community as welcoming, thoughtful and service oriented as Whitworth. The beauty and location of the campus is a close second!
Advice for Whitworth Applicants: There are many emotions new applicants might be feeling. Allow yourself to feel them all, and most importantly, let yourself be excited! Applying to college and dreaming of your future is a milestone that should be celebrated!
Free-for-All: I am happiest when lakeside in the summer, playing yard games with friends and family, and sleeping outside under the stars.
