Professional Development Dinners
Twice per year, all adjunct faculty are invited to a professional development workshop on a topic related to teaching and learning. Dinner is provided. Watch for an invitation via email in early August and early January.
 
Continuing Studies
Adjuncts who regularly teach in the continuing studies program are also invited to professional development workshops that are specific to engaging learners in our accelerated evening programs.
 
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Workshop Series
To aid our adjunct faculty in the development of cultural humility and inclusive pedagogy, a series of recorded lectures with corresponding application activities are available through Cornerstone (our online training platform for employees). Adjunct faculty who complete four of the six modules receive a $200 stipend. Adjuncts interested in this training should contact the dean of the school or the associate provost.
