Choral Ensembles

The Whitworth Choir is the university's premiere choral ensemble, comprised of selected singers across the campus. Regarded as one of the premier university choirs in the Pacific Northwest, the Whitworth Choir continues to build upon a 90-year heritage of fine choral singing. The choir rehearses daily and performs frequently throughout the years in on-campus and local concerts, domestic and international tours, campus ministry services, and university-wide events and celebrations. The Whitworth Choir has performed by invitation at Northwest Division conventions of the American Choral Directors Association and the National Association for Music Educators; repertoire selection ranges from chamber music to orchestral-choral works. Members of the ensemble are asked to commit to a full-year membership in the ensemble. The Whitworth Choir meets Monday-Friday, 11:45 a.m.-12:40 p.m.
