- The Internet Medieval Sourcebook is a collection of reviewed primary sources. This is a great site addressing many history topics, which are not confined to the medieval period.
- The Modern History Sourcebook contains an enormous amount of links and articles addressing American and European History in the past 200 years.
- The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum
- The Avalon project at the Yale Law School reproduces documents relevant to law, diplomacy, politics, economics, and history.
- The Library of Congress: Country Studies series has become a standard reference source of information about developed and developing nations alike.
- American Memory: Historical Collections for the National Digital Library consists of primary source and archival materials relating to US history and culture.
