Does Whitworth require the GMAT?

No. We don't believe a candidate's measure of success is revealed by a single, standardized test. For this reason, we look to your professional contributions, service to the community, recommendations, your essay and an admissions interview to glean a holistic view of your candidacy. However, we do encourage students to take the GMAT if they would like to apply for Whitworth School of Business scholarships. A GMAT score is required for all graduate scholarships, which could contribute to your cost of attendance. We can also take a recent GRE in lieu of a GMAT.

Do I need to have all of my required prerequisites done before applying?

No. Each outstanding prerequisite must be completed before beginning related content in your MBA program. Prerequisite courses can be completed concurrently with your MBA courses.

I took business courses in another graduate program. Can I count these courses toward my Whitworth MBA degree?

You can request that up to six credits of previously completed master's credits be transferred from another regionally accredited institution and applied to your MBA. Whitworth's business school faculty will review course transcripts and will make the final determination if the credit(s) can be counted toward your Whitworth MBA.
