Since 1982, Leadership Spokane has provided leadership training courses for established and emerging leaders throughout the Spokane community. Whitworth recognizes the dedication and drive it takes to complete the 10-month intensive program and has partnered with Leadership Spokane so graduates can use their experience to fulfill one MBA course (MB 501: Organizational Behavior & Leadership). The Emerging Leaders Society was established in 2013 to help young professionals develop leadership skills and generate change in the Spokane community. ELS provides a platform for its members to be recognized for their contribution and involvement in making a difference in the community.
