Physics & Engineering Collective (PEC)

This student club promotes camaraderie in the Whitworth Engineering & Physics Department, helps students prepare for careers in physics and engineering, and provides mentorship and service opportunities.

Physics Outreach with Northwood Middle School

Engage in service-learning. Through the Physics Outreach course, you can help middle school students design experiments and send them to the stratosphere with a weather balloon.

Rocket Launch

Students use the laws of physics to predict the potential altitude of rockets they build, and then test the accuracy of their predictions with an electronic altimeter on board the rockets.
