Whether or not you're called to full-time ministry, the Summer Fellowship Program is the practical application of Whitworth's education of mind and heart and is designed to help you discern how and where God is calling you. Paired with an OCE ministry partner site, students, based on their interests and/or major, participate in a 10- to 12-week holistic ministry experience, providing avenues to explore the ways that they are called to honor God, follow Christ and serve humanity.
Students will receive the following:
- $4,000 stipend
- Options to earn summer internship credit(s)
- Meaningful fellowship placement relevant to gifts, interests, passions and major
- Homestay with a faithful family involved in the ministry
- Spring semester fellowship training and preparation
- Discipleship and mentorship through placement site and from a fellowship chaplain
