Dr. Hinnenkamp, associate professor of business management and interim associate dean of Whitworth University’s School of Business, began teaching at Whitworth in 1998 as an adjunct professor and became a full time faculty member in the spring of 2004. Prior to entering the academic community, he gained over 25 years of management related experience with companies including Washington State Labor and Industries and Weyerhaeuser Corp. Dr. Hinnenkamp also serves as a consultant to organizations (primarily non-profits) working through issues of growth, transitions and development. His areas of research interest include ethics education, integration of faith in management education, and organizational development and change.
