Ediger's series of three papers on healthcare, nutrition and exercise were combined into a presentation, "Wellness: Does it Work?", which was selected to be delivered to the Physician Assistants Program faculty and was included in a clinical education seminar for all senior physician assistant students at Nova Southeastern University (2008). 

Author of "Closure Options for Skin Lacerations," in Athletic Therapy Today, 15(2), 19-22 (2010).

Mike Ediger, completed Doctor of Health Science degree, conferred December 31, 2008. 

Education committee member of the Washington State Public Health Association (2010); lobbyist in U.S. House and Senate, National Athletic Trainers Association (2010); Northwest Athletic Trainers Association, district chair of the College and University Athletic Training Students Committee, and National Athletic Trainers Association, national committee member of the College and University Athletic Training Students Committee (2003-08); certified examiner, National Athletic Trainers Association Board Of Certification Exam (2002-07).

Designs strength and conditioning programs for collegiate basketball, volleyball and softball; clinical experience in medical care, injury prevention and long-term rehabilitation of surgical injuries; completed an athletic trainer internship with the NFL's Arizona Cardinals (1995 and 1996); medical coordinator and athletic trainer for football, wrestling and basketball camps; certified member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.

Voted a "Most Influential Professor" by the Senior Class of 2011.

Received the 2010 Award for Excellence in Department Chair Leadership from Whitworth University (2010).
