Is it going to be edible?
This photo may show why men were not allowed in the kitchen much during the 1950s. Young women at Whitworth were learning the skills so that they could raise families and keep the men out of the kitchen. From Textiles and Clothing to Home Furnishing and Etiquette, a variety of courses were offered at Whitworth to create the perfect homemaker and/or Home Economics Teacher.
