Presenting the BSU Events that are sponsored by the BSU include the annual Gospel Explosion, Soul Food Dinner, and BSU Dance. The club also does charity work in the community. In 2002-03, the BSU took a group of disadvantaged kids from Spokane to Chuck E. Cheese Restaurant, to give them an experience that they probably hadn't had before. In 2003-04, the club is going to sponsor a child in Africa.
