For its Object, the Promotion of Athletics In response to the development of the Honor “W” Club, the traditional “W” Club earned the new name the Sable “W” Club, and in yearbooks is described as a club responsible solely for the promotion of athletics and sportsmanship. The club continued to sponsor social events, but as demonstrated in this photo, the club’s activities were restricted far more to athletics than anything else.
