Whitworth University Master Plan

The campus master plan builds upon Whitworth's success by outlining a physical framework for potential future campus development. The framework reflects recent achievements and future needs based on enrollment growth, space needs, existing conditions and strategic goals. The campus master plan is a living document and flexible framework by which the university can make future decisions in light of the strategic plan.

Whitworth University has a vibrant student community and distinctive campus environment. The campus master plan reinforces those strengths by outlining potential areas of development that will enhance a clear sense of place, identity and mission. While this plan tests the possibilities of a campus of 3,000 students and 80% on campus residency and outlines three distinct phases of development, the strategic plan for 2021 clarifies our intent to develop at a much more deliberate pace.
