Paul Lindholdt, an English professor at Eastern Washington University, has won a number of awards, including honors from the Academy of American Poets and the Society of Professional Journalists. He recently published "In Earshot of Water: Notes from the Columbia Plateau," winner of the 2012 Washington State Book Award.
