Whitworth Annual Giving Clubs

All donors of the previous fiscal year are listed by giving club in the honor roll of donors.

The President's Club

The President's Club was established to recognize donors who contribute $1,500 or more annually to Whitworth.

This valued and growing group of supporters forms the foundation that undergirds Whitworth's ability to fulfill its mission.

The objectives of The President's Club are:

  • to encourage and strengthen the engagement of individuals and organizations in the Whitworth community;

  • to establish a group of committed individuals and organizations whose assistance and counsel are available to the president;

  • to provide steady annual giving for the purpose of strengthening Whitworth's academic program.

The Leadership Circle

The Leadership Circle was created as Whitworth's premier annual giving club for donors of $10,000 or more to The Whitworth Fund. Members of The Leadership Circle help the university achieve higher goals, enhance educational opportunities for students, provide faculty with resources, and empower graduates who will make a positive impact around the world. Annual Leadership Circle donors are counted as trusted advisors and friends in the planning of Whitworth's future.

The 1890 Society

Whitworth relies on consistent annual support from alumni, parents and friends. This giving society recognizes those who make annual contributions for three or more consecutive years. Regardless of the amount of money they are able to contribute, members of The 1890 Society express a desire to further the university's mind-and-heart mission for its students.

Jay P. Graves Society

The Jay P. Graves Society was established in 2001 to honor those caring and visionary individuals who have established planned gifts with The Whitworth Foundation or have named Whitworth University as a beneficiary of their estate plans through a bequest, trust, gift annuity, pooled-income fund, life-insurance policy or retirement-account designation.

The society is named for one of Spokane's founding fathers: Jay P. Graves' vision and generosity resulted in Whitworth finding its permanent home on the city's north side, where the university has grown and prospered since 1914.

Is Whitworth in your estate plans? Please fill out this form and become a member of the Jay P. Graves Society today!
