Unity Voicemail Options (For Faculty & Staff)

1. To access Unity from your phone, press the MESSAGES button. You will be prompted for your password. The default password is 12345. You will be "walked through" your initial setup. When prompted to change your password, make it at least 4 digits and do not use consecutive numbers. To access from off campus dial 509.777.(your extension). Press * when Unity answers. Your I.D. is your extension.
   
   
2. Setup options: Press 4
   
   
3. Send a message: Press 2
   
   
4. Hear new messages: Press 1

Press the following numbers during a message:

• 1 - Repeat
• 2 - Save
• 3 - Delete
• 5 - Change volume
• 7 - Reverse
• 8 - Pause or continue
• 9 - Fast-forward

Press the following numbers after a message:

• 3 - Delete
• 4 - Reply to a Unity user
• 5 - Forward message to a Unity user
• 6 - Mark as new
• 9 - Hear message summary
  
  

5. Review old messages: Press 3
   
   
6. For shortcuts, press the following:
   
   
   • 4 1 1 Change greetings
   • 4 1 2 Change call transfer
   • 4 2 3 Full or brief menus
   • 4 3 1 Change password
   • 4 3 2 Change recorded name
     
     
7. Tips:
   
   
   • Cancel or back up: Press *
   • Skip or move ahead: Press #
   • Skip another user's greeting: Press #
