7960 IP Phone: Forwarding All Calls

  • Press the CFwdAll soft key. You will hear two beeps.

    If you forward your office phone to an on-campus 4-digit extension and the call goes unanswered, the caller will be transferred back to your voicemail. However, if you forward your office phone to an on-campus number by dialing 9-777-xxxx and your call goes unanswered, the caller will be transferred to the voicemail of the "forwarded to" number. This same rule applies if you forward your office phone to your home phone, cell phone or other off-campus number. The caller will be transferred to the voicemail of the "forwarded to" number.

    For example:
    x4000 is forwarded to x3000. If x3000 doesn't answer the call, the caller will be transferred to the voicemail of x4000.

    If x4000 is forwarded to 9-777-3000 and x3000 doesn't answer the call, the caller will be transferred to the voicemail of x3000.

    A flashing right arrow will appear in the upper-right corner of the LCD, indicating that all calls are being forwarded and to where.

    To cancel, press the CFwdAll soft key. You will hear two beeps.
