Whitworth University Aquatics Center

The goal of the Whitworth Aquatics Center is to provide a safe environment in which students, staff, faculty, and community can achieve their highest level of fitness through aquatic activity.

The center features a beautiful 40-yard lap pool with a bulkhead dividing the deep and shallow ends. This creates a large shallow end accessible by a ramp for entry. The moveable bulkhead provides participants with the freedom to adapt to either a 25-meter short course or a 25-yard-course competition pool. The pool's temperature is maintained at 80-82 degrees during the varsity swim team season; this is an ideal temperature for a workout facility. Our pool is available to the community for a variety of fitness, water-safety and learn-to-swim programs.
