Favorite Quote: "If you can't think of anything nice to say, you're not thinking hard enough." -Kid President
Favorite Classes at Whitworth:
Performance Theory, Christianity and the Arts in Italy, and every dance class I could take.
Favorite Spokane Activity:
Going to Green Bluff and picking raspberries, peaches, apples, or whatever is in season.
Favorite thing about Whitworth:
Having so many wonderful friends (including faculty and staff) who really care about me. I also love the community of artists here who know that their work can be an act of worship. And when it snows, you feel like you're in Narnia.
Advice for Whitworth applicants:
Passion, whether it's for ultimate frisbee, hip hop, ministry, or medicine, sets you apart! Sharing your passion will help colleges connect you with faculty and students that share your interests, and can help you determine when a school will (or won't) be a good fit.
Free for all:
Random dancing is my love language. I have a yellow lab named Sasquatch who is pretty much the dog version of me, and a husband from Texas who taught me to love the word “y’all.” I have toured as a children's theatre performer, danced with a modern dance company, and worked on a high ropes challenge course. In my free time I go to every student event I can (go Bucs!), choreograph for the Whitworth Theatre department, and teach dance.
