  • Meet with Project Director to provide an orientation to grant administration responsibilities


  • Establish accounts
  • Provide monthly account up-dates
  • Monitor grant expenses for compliance with the budget
  • Alert project directors of potential need to modify budget or spending patterns
  • Provide assistance on fiscal policies of the university and the funding agency
  • Assist in preparing requests for no-cost extension, re-budgeting, and renewal budgets


  • Assist project director with interpreting reporting requirements
  • Provide e-mail reminders for reports due


  • Assist in interpretation of rules and regulations and the terms and conditions governing grant awards
