Award Negotiation & Contract Signatures
Because the award is given to the university, the Sponsored Programs Office will negotiate awards with agencies.
Contract Review and Signatures
The Sponsored Programs Office reviews all contracts for grants in collaboration
with the Vice President of Business Affairs. If you receive a contract
for your grant, please forward it to the director of Sponsored Programs
for review and signatures. Faculty or staff may not sign contracts on
behalf of the university. Sponsored programs will obtain the necessary signatures
after the contract is reviewed.
Review and signature procedure is the same as above. However, if your grant requires a subcontract to be written, please contact the director of Sponsored Programs. Sponsored programs will prepare a subcontract and obtain signatures.
