Semester ProgramsWhitworth University Costa Rica Center > Faculty & Staff >Coming to the Whitworth University Costa Rica Center for an entire semester is one of the many options available to faculty desiring to get involved with this new venture. As a part of our Major Specific Programs, departments have the opportunity to "adopt a semester" at the CRC. Within this program, departments can send down a professor to teach either an intensive short course or to stay for the entire semester. Faculty staying for the entire semester have the opportunity to teach a full course load in a Costa Rican context of experiential learning. Faculty members are encouraged to bring their families to Costa Rica with them as well. For the Spring 2012 Term, Associate Professor of Art Katie Creyts plans on coming to the CRC for the entire semester to host an Art Major Specific Program.
